Prosper is the premier peer-to-peer lender, providing both borrowers and lenders with an easy way to get excellent rates.

But to do this, the company needed to boost its ranking in search.

After receiving Prosper's preferred keywords, I carefully inserted them throughout the twenty landing pages I crafted.

To be effective, the copy had to work on three different levels:

1) Use as many of the keywords as possible...

2) ...but use them judiciously. Too many, too often will result in lower rankings, or worse, perhaps the site being banned altogether.

3) Perhaps most importantly, the copy had to read well and prompt conversions. Many forget this.

Good SEO must complement the marketing--not work against it.
